  • World Mental Health Awareness Day
    P7 & P2 join forces to celebrate World Mental Health Awareness Day. It is so important to ensure that even our young people are aware that it’s ok not to be ok sometimes.
  • P1 Autumn Walk
    The P1 girls and boys took advantage of the sunny Autumn weather this morning and enjoyed going on an Autumn nature walk. Using their check list, they searched hard for signs of Autumn and had so much fun along the way.
  • The big Water Bus
    The big Water Bus visited the boys and girls in Kingsisland yesterday.
  • After School Sports
    After school sports resumed this week with lots of children taking part in small-sided games and skills practice in different sports. This means everyone is getting lots of touches and opportunities to improve!

  • Chess Club
    We are delighted to welcome Kor's dad, Jelmer, back to Kingsisland this year to teach the children how to play chess. The chess club is held every Thursday morning from 8am to 9am.
  • Visit from Mary the Librarian
    Today we also welcomed Mary from the library in Coalisland to our Assembly. Mary was delighted to present over 70 of our pupils with their certificates for taking part in the 'Big Summer Read'!!
  • Primary 2 Ninja Warriors!!!!
    We are taking full advantage of our amazing state of the art PE equipment in P2 and had a ninja warrior style obstacle course set up today. We were focusing on developing our crawling, rolling, balancing and climbing skills.
  • P3/4 After School Games
    P3/4 After-school games club as always is a popular choice for our pupils. With dodgeball, hurling and football all taking place in today’s afternoon
  • Primary Five Handwriting Champions
    The children have been working very hard since the start of September on their joined handwriting and their work has been very impressive so far!
