- Congratulations to our P4 Girls & Boys, who celebrated their 1st Holy Communion this morning in St Patrick's Church, Clonoe. They were a credit to themselves, their families and Kingsisland PS.
- Today Primary 5 made the short journey to The Argory for a fun filled day of exploring, learning and of course playing! However the undoubted highlight was captaining The Heron on The River Blackwater.
- Kingsisland were delighted to join in a festival of football down at the Shore today as they attended a 7-a-side tournament hosted by our near neighbours Aughamullan.
- On Friday our Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils took part in a workshop with a special visit from the Dairy Council, who focused on food nutrition and how to make sure you keep an active lifestyle.
- It was a memorable day for our girls Camogie team who came away as winners of the Cumann na mBunscol Shield!
- We’ve got our playground back… and it feels like home again. After months of renovation works in the original school building, it was a special moment this week to see our playground come back to life.
- Congratulations to another Kingsisland past pupil, Shea, on an outstanding achievement in the US Kids Golf tournament!
- Super well done to our past pupil Brian Óg on making the team Northern Ireland Powerchair Soccer team after smashing his trials!
- A super well done to our past pupil, Fionn, who captained N. Ireland to win the Plate final at The Nations Cup International football tournament held in Spain this week.
- As part of our Grow in Love Religion programme, our P1 children enjoyed a special visit to St. Colmcille’s Church.
