The Academy senior Ladies team who were crowned all Ireland champions yesterday. But a very special mention must go to our Star past pupil Orlagh Gavin who put in a dazzling display to win player of the match in the final.
We always knew Orlagh was destined for the top.She was so talented and full of skill that even when she was in P6 and 7, Orlagh was always first pick even on the boys football teams. What a fantastic recognition to get the headline in today's Irish News. Well done Orlagh! We are all so proud of you in Kingsisland!
