The Primary Five children had a day out with a difference today as they embarked on an archaeological dig! They visited the site of a Victorian Pottery and helped to uncover some clues to the past.
The boys and girls also learned how to clean their ‘finds’ and made pinch pots from clay. The weather made for some muddy clothes but the smiles on the children’s faces showed that it didn’t bother them in the slightest. Definitely a day out to remember!
