P6 are taking part in the Irish News Young Readers Project where they undertake weekly activities that offer a different way to challenge their reading skills, while also introducing them to the world of newspapers.

They are becoming familiar with the different types of news stories and are able to see the impact that events of all types can have on their local area and across the world.
