P5 welcomed a special guest into our classroom this morning. Mark from the Fire and Rescue Service spoke to P5 about fire safety in the home.

He talked about the importance of knowing what causes fires, why a bedtime routine is so important to make sure all appliances are turned off, why we should have a fire escape plan and the importance of having a working smoke alarm. Thank you Mark for sharing all this information with us today and making us aware of how we can be fire safe in our own homes.
