The last STEM Session for Primary 5.9 April 2025 (by admin) |
All good things must come to an end! Today marked the final STEM session alongside the experts at Mallaghans and MEGA. We finished creating our conveyor belts and added some last minute improvements and enhancements.
We then presented our prototypes and tested them to see if they were fully functional. It was great to hear everyone talk about their experiences becoming mini engineers and the challenges they faced and overcame through creativity and teamwork. We are delighted to report all 8 groups were successful in designing and constructing a fully functional belt drive, with suitcases and all! Many thanks to our P6 students for their crucial input based on their experiences from last year. We look forward to linking up again next year for another wonderful project and on that note we must say a huge thank you to Elita from MEGA- Manufacturing & Engineering Growth & Advancement and the team at Mallaghan. Alongside ourselves at Kingsisland, together we are engineering a bright future for the children and community.
