Our Wednesday mornings in P7 learning Irish with Gearoid have become a real highlight of the week this term.
The class have been taught how to say greetings, name colours, how to say their name and where they are from, express their emotions and recognise numbers. They’ve been able to take the learning outside the classroom and play games in Irish as part of PE.
They look forward to this every Wednesday as we make the effort to use more of our native language throughout the week!
