Our second week of afterschool soccer was a little less stormy off the field than our first. Thankfully the 3G ensured there were no underfoot issues as the girls and boys of primary 4 and
primary 5 took to the pitch. With the Scandinavian teams on their mid winter break we went down the leagues in England for our teams. The once mighty Barnsley, every 80s child's favourite lower league team, Accrington Stanley, MK Dons, formerly Wimbledon, and Forest Green made up our League One quartet. The skills, teamwork and outstanding defence on show was worthy of the premiership. Keep posted as we continue our odyssey through the leagues in the coming weeks!
