Today we hosted Section N of the CnmB Tír Eoghain in Derryresk Gfc. In attendance were Derrylatinee PS, Blessed Patrick O'Loughran PS, Carland PS, Caledon PS and Kingsisland PS. The standard of footballing skills
was a delight to see. After some hard fought and very competitive round robin games we reached the final of each competition.
In the Ladies final Kingsisland and Laghey could not be separated at full time. After a further 3 minutes of added time the Laghey girls emerged victorious by the finest of margins.
In the Shield final Caledon put it up to the Kingisaland P6 team but came up just short against the Kingsisland boys.
Kingsisland P7's and Blessed Patrick O'Loughran produced the game of the day in the finsl of the Cuman na mBunscol boys competition. The Kingsisland boys just about got the better of the BPOL boys after an end to end battle of attacking football.
Laghey ladies and Kingsisland boys now go forward to represent our section in the Tír Eoghain County finals to be held in the Tyrone centre of excellence in Garvaghy.
