Primary 3 had a blast today as they finished off their ‘Food, Glorious, Food!’ topic with a trip to Newell Stores Coalisland.
Tony treated us to a first class tour of the shop, along with our very own Cathaoír as assistant manager, and Muireann and Caleb on tills!
We learned about the food miles of the products in store, chatted to the staff around the butchers, deli and hot food to ask them lots of questions, and then visited ‘behind the scenes’ to view some important jobs in the office and warehouse.
There were more surprises to come at the end of the tour with yummy food waiting for us in the break room… ![</div><div>Link: <a href=]()
