KINGSISLAND V ST PATRICK'S14 June 2021 (by admin) |
We welcomed St Patrick's P.S. down to the beautifully manicured new surface in Hughies Lot today for another
Challenge game and a chance for our P7's to catch up on so much badly missed competitive GAA.
Conditions were just about perfect, as the teams were the first primary school pupils to have the opportunity to play on the immaculate new surface.
And the quality and standard of football skills and sportsmanship on display were also of the highest standards. It was a pleasure to see both teams playing an attacking, fast moving and kick passing style of play.
At the end of a pulsating game, the teams could not be separated on the score board. The game finishing 9-17 to 9-17.
Thanks to the staff of St Patrick's for making the effort to bring their pupils. And a huge thanks, as usual to the ever supportive Derrytresk clubman Aidan Fitzgerald, for ensuring the children of Kingsisland have access to the fantastic set up in Derrytresk GFC. Well done everyone.
