Helping Hands Programme
The Primary 5, 6 and 7 classes completed their Helping Hands Programme this week. The six week programme saw the children participating in workshops hosted by Shauna from the Women’s Aid organisation. The focus of the programme was to make the children aware of the importance of feeling safe with others, others feeling safe with them and the people/ organisations available for them to talk to about any worries or problems they have. The children were involved in lots of games and activities, although the ‘smartie game’ was a particular favourite! The children all received a certificate and goody-bag for completing the programme.
